Cheers: Cinco 4 Mayo

Okay, so yesterday was Cinco de Mayo and I must say I had a lot of fun. All I have to say is long live the neighborhood dive bar! Trying to get a margarita in Los Angeles on Cinco de Mayo is murder. All the popular chains were jammed packed and all the drinks were watered down. A friend of mine suggested a neighborhood Mexican restaurant/bar that she loves. Hey, it was still jammed packed but boy were the the drinks good and the service even better (the owner even comes out and high fives all the guests). Sipping margaritas and kicking back made me think of chilling in Mexico (I wouldn't be caught dead there now-hello, swine flu!) and the ease of the ultimate kick back shoe, the flip-flop. Here are five of my favorites!

Havaianas Flip Flop $24. In a versatile metallic gold and cute peacock feather print.

Tory Burch flip flop $45. For you label lovers that just can't resist (super cute in pink).

Juicy "Laney" Wedge $64.95. Love the nautical design. A flip flop wedge does wonders for your legs. When poolside think of them as the equivalent of wearing stilettos with your bikini.

Report "Myrick" flip flop $59.95. The simplicity of leather and wood. These go with everything.
